Spiritual Preparation
Lots of Spiritual growth can happen on Trek.  Participants return home with stories, hearts full, and testimonies strengthened. To get the most out of Trek, spiritual preparation is needed...  We have provided a list of ideas. Click on the links below to begin your preparation.
Temple Work
"Any work you do in the temple is time well spent, but receiving ordinances vicariously for one of your own ancestors will make the time in the temple more sacred, and even greater blessings will be received." -Elder Richard G. Scott
Take time to attend the temple and participate in saving ordinances for your ancestors.
Family History
"We can be inspired all day long about temple and family history experiences others have had, but we must do something to actually experience the joy ourselves." -President Nelson
Taking time to learn more about your ancestors will help you connect with the past.
Scriptures
"We must make scripture study a daily part of our lives as this will open the doors of revelation" -James B. Martino
Study the scriptures daily for at least a month.
Memorize some of your favorite scriptures.
Keep A Journal
"Those who keep a book of remembrance are more likely to keep the Lord in remembrance in their daily lives. Journals are a way of counting our blessings and of leaving an inventory of these blessings for our posterity." -President Spencer W. Kimball
If you do not have a journal begin writing today.
Watch Inspiring Movies
Several movies have been made regarding the Miracles as well as the hardships many of the pioneers faced while making the Trek to Zion.
Take time to watch and ponder the experiences they had.
