Trek Update
We want to inform you that we have met with our Stake Presidency and the decision has been made to POSTPONE Trek to June 2021. The good news is you will have that much more time to prepare and get excited about joining us next year! To eliminate confusion, everyone will need to re-register. We will begin registration again in January 2021 using this website. We invite you to watch the training videos that our committee has worked hard to create. You can prepare now while you have extra time. We look forward to seeing you all next year!
What is Trek?
This trek should assist all to experience and appreciate some of the hardships of the early Church pioneers, including those of the handcart companies; to learn of their suffering and sacrifice, and feel of their testimonies and their continued love for and faith in their Savior, Jesus Christ, as they heeded the call of their prophet to “Gather to Zion.” This experience should also encourage participants to learn about the pioneers in their own life and help the youth gain an understanding of what it takes to be a pioneer. This experience can leave a lasting legacy for the future. This experience will be spiritual and doing all of this will be FUN!
Some goals of Trek are to:
Gain a stronger testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ and the Restoration of the Gospel
Feel gratitude for the sacrifices of the pioneers and the
Seek and find guidance to overcome challenges
Learn core gospel principles
Gain deeper feelings of gratitude and love for the family at home
Build unity
Increase individual self worth
Gain new friends
Focus on serving and rescuing others

Super Saturday Preparation Activity
April 18th
Come for a Trek preparation day!
We will be playing trek games, practicing how to prepare a meal, and discussing your physical and spiritual preparation.
Registration Closed

Online Registration for Trek will be closed.
All other registrations will need to be referred through your bishop and approved as space is available.
Trail of Faith Award
May 31st
Must have completed 15 of the listed items on the checklist
Signed by a parent/leader and turned into your bishop.

This is Sean and Rachel's third trek in this stake. They had the blessing to be a Ma and Pa during the 2012 Trek and to be in charge of Games during the 2016 Trek. Now they are excited to help plan and execute the 2020 Trek! "We love working with the youth of the church and we know it will be a spiritually rewarding experience for everyone involved."
